This is my story of an incredible experience from my morning of June 8th.
I consider it a Divine Encounter tied to my lost wallet, my Saturday morning men's Prayer Breakfast, and the Armor of God Challenge.
In the lower slower part of Delaware, a collection of divine events unfolded that intertwined the lives of myself, John Eldredge Senior, and a group of believers in a series of events that defied coincidence and spoke of a higher purpose at work.
It all began on Friday evening when my wife Claudette and I packaged up our latest delivery of Armor of God Challenge coins.
My normal routine is to meet with my Christian Brothers for our weekly Saturday morning breakfast and Bible study.
As I left the restaurant, a stranger held the door and gave me a heartfelt “God Bless you” which led to a conversation and a sharing of our faith in Jesus Christ. This set the stage for what was to come. The stranger told me his name was Willy. I shared the Whole Armor of God Challenge with Willy and gave him the two coin challenge packets I had in my pocket.
Upon arriving at home, I realized that my wallet was missing. I must have dropped during my encounter with Willy. I called the restaurant and to my relief they confirmed that they had my wallet. As I was leaving my home I thought “ I really need to take my case that I had replenished with coin packets the night before”.
Returning to the diner, Willy, the same man who had held the door and blessed me earlier was near the doorway as I walked in. This time, Willy invited me to join with him in a meeting room where he was attending a morning breakfast and Bible study. I asked Willy if he thought it would be ok if I spoke with the group about the Whole Armor of God Challenge, he replied, Absolutely! So I hurried out to my car to get my bag that I carry the challenge coin packets in.
A group of about twenty five pastors and Christian workers were in the room. I introduced myself and asked them if they would mind if I talked with them about Ephesians 6: 11-18 while they enjoyed their meal, “go for it!” was their response
I was offered the opportunity to stand and speak about the power of faith and the significance of spiritual armor in our lives and speak about the Armor of God to Coin Challenge ministry. My words seemed to resonate with the group, inspiring and uplifting them in our shared journey of faith in Jesus.
As I began passing out coin challenge packets, I soon discovered that five individuals already possessed their own Whole Armor of God challenge coins, gifted by fellow believers in the lower Delaware area. Wow! The Whole Armor of God Coin Challenge has been spreading in Delaware!
After the impromptu gathering and drive home, I reflected on the miraculous way in which God had orchestrated these encounters, turning a moment of forgetfulness and a lost wallet, into a profound opportunity for fellowship and spiritual connection with a new group of Believers. I marvel at the workings of the Holy Spirit that had led me back to the diner, where I was able to share my story and connect with a community of Believers who allowed me to present the Challenge and accept Armor of God coins.
For me, this serves as a wonderful reminder of the blessings of unexpected connections and the transformative power of faith. In the hands of God, even a lost wallet could become a vessel for spreading His message of love, grace, and redemption, weaving together the lives of individuals in divine encounters and shared blessings. There are no accidents in the lives of Christian’s and God can always turn a negative into a positive!

In early May when Don (coin 0001) introduced me to the Whole Armor of God Challenge and gave me my coin number, 0300, I began praying that God would use this ministry along with so many others, to lead unsaved people to Jesus and to help believers stand firm while resisting attacks and temptations.
On this 2024 New Year's Day morning, in just eight months, I counted 29 states out of our 50 states that have registered coins. Over half of these United States have people who have joined the Armor of God Challenge community, Praise God!!
Also it appears that five of the seven continents in the world have people who have registerer coins !
We know there are many more people who have received coins but have not registered them.
I invite each one of you to join my wife and I as we pray for the souls of people who are not followers of Jesus here in our country as well as around the world in this new year.
We are also thanking our Heavenly Father for this ministry and praying that God would continue to bless Don and the Whole Armor of God coin challenge. 🙏🏻☝️✝️

My wife went to our local town post office to send a small box of coins out of the country.
The clerk asked her what was in the box for the customs paperwork. My wife told the clerk that it was prayer coins. The clerk said "I know about them"! My wife responded " how do you know about them?" The clerk said "my friend Tim showed me his".
My wife asked her if she would like one and the clerk asked for four ! The clerk got four !!
Thank God for how his word continues to reach people and through the Whole Armor of God Challenge.

It is wonderful to be able to connect with you through these two ministries.
My name is John, coin number 0300. I received my coin in early May.
I attended my first Waterboyz Expedition Maryland, this past September. It has been a life changing adventure for me to create more relationships with followers of Christ and now with brothers in Germany.
I had the pleasure of visiting a company in Schopfheim twice in the mid 1990's. They were pleasurable trips.
Thank you for registering your coins. I will be praying that your group will continue to grow in blessing's and in numbers. 🙏🏻☝️

I spent September 21 to September 24 2023 in Worton Maryland with the Waterboyz for Jesus Expedition.
A weekend of sharing and supporting with other followers of Jesus. There was a baptism in the Chesapeake Bay during torrential rain and nearly Gail force winds. Praise God!!
A presentation of The Whole Armor of God Challenge coins was given to nearly 60 men. What a blessing to share this ministry with the men who worship with the Waterboyz ministry.

In the early 1950’s, my mom, two brothers and my stepfather lived in a trailer park about a mile or so from Mount Hope United Methodist Church, located on the top of a long, tall hill in Aston Pa. Since my stepfather had to work every day including Sunday, my mom would walk to church with my brothers and, in my young years, pushing me in a stroller up the hill. She faithfully made sure we got to Sunday School and church on time, dressed in suits and ties. Mom always wore a hat covering her head showing obedience and reverence. We were showing our respect to God by presenting ourselves in our very best. Mount Hope was filled with Godly men and women who studied and followed sound Bible doctrine as tought by a wonderful named Reverend Worth. We continued attending Mount Hope UME church, after my parents were able to purchase a house in the same town. My brothers and I were picked up every Sunday morning by one of the many full sized Sunday School buses that crisscrossed the community picking up lots of children. As a result of learning what Jesus Christ did for us, “For God so loved the world, he sent his one and only Son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”. John 3:16. Over several years, one by one, my brothers and I each asked Jesus into our lives and for Him to be our Lord and Savior. My born again date is December 26, 1962, I still have the Bible Mr Norris gave me on that day with the date written in the front. It’s pretty worn, mostly from being carried and probably not due to being intensely studied in those days. My family moved from the town of Aston to a neighboring town in 1968 and began worshiping at a local Baptist Church. I thank God for Mount Hope UME and the impact those Godly followers of Jesus Christ had on my family and me throughout our years. Every now and then I’d meet someone who was my mom’s age and attended Mount Hope church in those days, and they remember my mom and us brothers by saying “ Oh yes, I remember how your mom would push that baby stroller up that long hill with your brothers in tow every Sunday to make sure you were in church”. What a testimony mom had as she taught us how important it is to keep our commitment and thankfulness to our Heavenly Father. Happy Mother’s Day. Love in Christ who saves us.
