Quick praise report from this past weekend. I prepared, trained, and asked God for strength and perseverance. I completed a 53.3 mile ruck (hiking) challenge on Friday/Saturday (19 1/2 hours). This was my third attempt during this annual event--less than 20% are able to complete. At 62, I was able to endure the struggle and pain, despite muscle fatigue and sleep deprivation. I dedicated my efforts to two of my friends struggling with cancer. True strength come from the Lord--to God be the glory.

Don, Thanks for your support and commitment to the AOG Coin Challenge. We just completed our semi-annual Men’s Retreat, at Bear Creek Camp in Wilkes Barre, PA. This was 2 1/2 day off-site for dedicated men to sharpen their skills and get to meet other goldy men. The theme of our retreat was “A Call to Duty”, We are Soldiers of the Cross. The men were presented topics on; Our Call to Duty, Developing a Warrior Mindset, Know Thy Enemy, Armor of God, and Building a Team. We culminate the retreat by presenting the AOG coin challenged—all 25 men accepted. Such a powerful moment and symbolic token to help keep us focused being prepared and to put on God’s Armor daily.
