It has been just under two weeks since I received my Armor of God challenge coin. I received mine at the Band of Brothers Bootcamp which I previously shared about. And it is one week since I received coins myself from Don to begin blessing others as I have been blessed.
I felt the need to share with you all what these coins are doing in my small piece of God's Kingdom. I have given these coins to children as young as 5 years old, and men up to 90 years old. Our children sure do need protection from the things of this world, and a 90 year old man who just had to put his wife of 70 years in a nursing home sure needs the suit! The Holy Spirit is so alive and real in me as these coins help open conversation, prayers, and most importantly, authentic relationships.
The children are so interested and ask questions. There Dad and Mom took them to this site and played some videos. And they had more questions. I love this. Raise your children with the Lord!
And the 90 year old man? I saw the Holy Spirit in his eyes. I saw hope. I saw just a bit of "I will be ok"
These are just two stories I am sharing now. There is more that I will share when God nudges me to do so.
I hope that others can share some stories also. I would love to hear more of what our absolutely amazing God is doing through this ministry.
Great testimony Greg. You are on fire Brother and I greatly appreciate how God is using you to encourage others in Upstate New York! The Gospel is for all ages, from small children to those over 100. There are no limitations! Many coins have been given to children at vacation Bible schools this summer and coins have been placed on night stands in hospitals. Many are being carried in pockets! We all need Jesus and we all need the reminder and encouragement of the Armor of God.
I am grateful for your enthusiasm and witness. I'm happy and humbled to say that We crossed a milestone this week with over 5,000 Armor of God Challenge coins being shipped. Coins are all across North America with a good number in Canada, from Victoria Island to Newfoundland! Coins are now being carried in luggage 5,10,15 at a time into China for Belivers and the encouragement of the Gospel, and as of this week, the first shipment of 36 coins is being carried into Germany for a chapter or "table" of one of our our new Partners The WaterBoyz. Coins have been delivered to two African countries and I think that this is just the beginning!
The power of the Gospel is real. The energy and enthuseasim that it creates in people is amazing to see. The coin is just a piece of metal but is an amazing reminder that God loves us, that he has made provision to protect us and that We should "Pray Always".
